Matt Walker is going to port the JavaScript intermediate
representation
compiler/runtime to PHP, and answer Niklas's questions about ResourceLoader
integration.

As for packaging in
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Requests_for_comment/Services_and_narrow_interfaces#Packaging_and_small_installs,
we agreed that we should have a public repo that's easy to add to a
Debian or Ubuntu system, so it would be great if Gabriel, Subbu, and/or
Faidon would add notes to that RFC's talk page and proceed accordingly. :)
