Hi all! I joined to this mailing list because I am a MediaWiki user and I like FOSS, I would like to contribute to Wikimedia Foundation by participating to GSoC 2015.
From the ideas list I liked more Extension to identify and delete spam pages and Newsletter MediaWiki extension, I like web development but I usually don't have much time to expand my knowledge, and this would be a very good occasion for me to both contribute to the community, learn more interesting stuff, know better Wikimedia community, and have the possibility to do this gorgeous stuff full time this summer :) I have recently completed Aerospace Engineering and I am student of Electronic Engineering right now, as hobby I have done web development and design, so I know HTML, CSS, JavaScript and various web development technology such as JQuery and AJAX, while I have basic knowledge of SQL, Python and PHP. I would know which of the ideas I like is priority? I am very motivated to do this project and I would definitely learn a lot of things, moreover i would like to continue to cooperate with Wikimedia community also after the GSoC ends Thanks for this possibility!
