I once ran mw 1.19 in 2013 or before under the shared hosting service,
since at that moment I was fully n00b about git, php(I'm still newbie when
it comes to coding), and mariadb/mysql.

Not everybody who is using mediawiki is tech-savvy like they know how to
execute shell commands, how to secure their VM/Container against various
attacks, etc etc <any unexpected/technical problems here>.

PS. I'm not using shared hosting now. My Linode VPS is running Ubuntu 14.04
LTS as of today, and I'm not going back to the shared hosting.
