Hello! Just a quick note to let you all know that support for 3D models is coming to Commons! [0] The plan is to have the feature enabled by the end of November. There are a few technical items left to address. The feature will support the STL file format, one of the most common file formats for 3D models. This feature has been discussed in the Wikimedia community for a long time. Most recently the feature was #11 on the 2015 Community Tech Wishlist and was previously discussed on Commons in April as development progressed.
