Five Football Games Televised This Week

Schedule Includes Thursday Night ESPNU Telecast, Women's Soccer Match

CMU hosts Bowling Green for a Thursday night ESPNU game  
 
CLEVELAND-Five football games involving Mid-American Conference will be 
televised this week, including Bowling Green at first-place Central Michigan on 
ESPNU Thursday night.

The Thursday night ESPNU telecast featuring the Falcons and Chippewas begins at 
7:30 p.m., with Mike Gleason handling play-by-play and Chris Martin performing 
analyst duties.  ESPNU is available on DIRECTV Channel 609.

Then Comcast Local will air the Western Michigan at Ball State game at 2:00 
p.m. Saturday.  Ben Holden (play-by-play) and Rob Otto (analyst) team up in the 
Sheumann Stadium booth.

The action continues at 3 p.m., when Northern Illinois entertains future MAC 
member Temple for a homecoming game aired on Comcast Sports Net Chicago.  Dave 
Kaplan will handle the play-by-play with Tom Waddle (analyst) and Mark Scafidi 
(sideline reporter) joining on the telecast.

Also at 3 p.m, Toledo visits Eastern Michigan for the MAC TV Game of the Week. 
Michael Reghi and Bob Chmiel call the action with Jeff Phelps reporting from 
the Rynearson Stadium sidelines in Ypsilanti. The game is one of four games 
available via the mac-sports.com All-MACcess service for $7.95.  Visit the MAC

Finally, Miami visits defending MAC champion Akron for a MAC East showdown as 
both teams try to climb back into the race.  The ESPN360 broadband game will 
begin at 6 p.m.

On Sunday, October 22, at 1 p.m., BCSN will televise the Central Michigan at 
Toledo women's soccer match from Scott Park.  The match will be shown at 8:30 
p.m. Sunday night.
