MOSCOW, Russia (Reuters) -- A cargo spaceship had problems docking with the
international space station (ISS) on Thursday, a spokesman for mission
control said.

The spaceship was bringing water, food and supplies to the
U.S.-Russian-German crew on the station. The problems surround the seal
between the spaceship and the ISS.

"The ship did not succeed in latching on tightly to the station," the
spokesman said. "There is no danger to the crew."

The Progress rocket roared off from Russia's Baikonur cosmodrome in the
Kazakh steppes on Monday.
