Ohio-Kent State Highlights Six-Game Football TV Schedule
Friday Night MAC East Volleyball Showdown Starts Weekend

4-0 KSU faces 3-1 Ohio in the MAC TV Game of the Week
CLEVELAND-Six football games involving Mid-American Conference teams plus a
volleyball match featuring two top-35 MAC teams will be televised this weekend.
The action begins Friday night with a MAC East volleyball match at 7:00 p.m.,
as No. 22 Ohio visits Bowling Green, which garnered enough AVCA Poll votes to
earn the No. 31 spot. The match will be televised in the Toledo area on the
Buckeye CableSystem Sports Network.
In football action, Northern Illinois visits Big Ten foe Iowa at noon Eastern
on ESPNU. Clay Matvick will call the play-by-play and Brian Kinchen the
analysis live from Kinnick Stadium. ESPNU is available on DIRECTV Channel 609.
At 1:00 p.m., Buffalo travels to No. 17 Boston College for a game to be
televised via broadband on ESPN 360 with Dave Popkin handling play-by-play and
Ron Brown serving as analyst.
The MAC TV Football Game of the Week hits the airwaves at 2:00 p.m. with first
place in the MAC East on the line as Ohio visits Kent State. Michael Reghi
(play-by-play) teams with analyst Bob Chmiel in the booth while Jeff Phelps
reports from the Dix Stadium sidelines.
That same time, Ohio News Network will air the Ball State at Miami game live in
the Cincinnati and Dayton markets.
Then Comcast Local will air the Eastern Michigan at Western Michigan football
game at 3:30 p.m. Ben Holden (play-by-play) and Rob Otto (analyst) team up for
live coverage from Waldo Stadium.
The action concludes at 7 p.m., when defending MAC champion Akron visits 2004
MAC champion Toledo. Frank Giardina (play-by-play) and former Buffalo head
coach Jim Hohfer (color) will call the action on Tthe ESPN360 broadband
telecast.
