Nov. 15, 2006 EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette College Department of Athletics has issued several guidelines and reminders for fans of both Lafayette and Lehigh that are planning on attending the 142nd meeting between the schools on Saturday, Nov. 18. The gates at Fisher Stadium will open at 10:30 a.m., and kickoff is scheduled for 1:08 p.m. There is no re-entry permitted into the stadium without another ticket, and bottles or containers (including alcoholic beverages) and outside food are prohibited. Additionally, Fisher Stadium is a smoke-free facility, and no pets will be allowed inside the stadium. Parking passes for Markle Parking Deck have been predistributed, and parking will not be allowed on either level of the deck without a pass marked for the Lafayette-Lehigh game. All other parking will be on campus or on the city streets on College Hill. Additional seating to accommodate 2,075 fans, beyond the original capacity of 13,132 at Fisher Stadium, has been erected behind the east end zone to bring the total capacity for Saturday's game to 15,207. All seating is reserved. All tickets, including those for the end zone seating, were sold out on Oct. 19. Tickets for next year's Lafayette-Lehigh game, to be played at Goodman Stadium in Bethlehem, will go on sale on Aug. 1, 2007. Fans are also reminded that the 19x35 foot video matrix board in the northwest corner of Fisher Stadium will be utilized extensively during pre-game activities, and fans are encouraged to take their seats early to enjoy the festivities. Lafayette prides itself on the outstanding behavior of its fans at all athletic contests, and fans of both schools are expected to conduct themselves in a manner befitting the reputation of both institutions. Less than acceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Those without tickets for the game can follow the action on radio via WEST 1400-AM or on television via the Lafayette Sports Network. The telecast will be available live regionally on RCN-4 and WBPH-60. The Lafayette Sports Network telecast will also air nationally on tape-delay at 4 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19, on CSTV (DIRECTV Channel 610, DISH Network Channel 152). Lafayette Sports Network All-Access will broadcast the game live worldwide on www.goleopards.com.
