Maybe it is time to consider reorganizing the Programs Menu.

With mine I put similar applications together in their own folder on the Programs Menu. DVD/CD applications go into a Program folder aptly named DVD Programs and so forth.

When I put together a system for a client I always reorganize the Start Menu. On 98 system's I'd relocate the Desktop to the Programs folder just to try & force people to reorganize. FWIW I have my DVD/CD apps in CDs & DVDs folder shortcut. All my Windows & other Microsoft apps are in the Microsoft folder altho I try not to use brand names where ever possible but rather use folder shortcut names such as Games, Multimedia & a generic one called Apps or Misc will work. One can also drop Folder Shortcuts right on the Start Menu & what you'll get is an added column but to the left instead of to the right of Programs [see <http://www.wavijo.com/start.html>].
