I know, in a corporate environment, the boss may want to explicitly see who else is getting the e-mail you just sent him. That's the only reason I can see for having several dozen addresses (usually one per line with OL/OE) crammed into the To: header. I absolutely HATE it when I get an e-mail from someone using one of these clients (or any client) and the first thing I'm greeted with
is several pages of addresses.
I try educating people that I routinely receive e-mails from that do that, but it's fighting the tide with a broom. <sigh>
