My kids had spring break different weeks. :)
HS student had 3 weeks in march off. Her first week of break was one college
students break. The second week was her other sister's spring break. The third
week (easter week) we went to PA to visit our elderly parents.
This weekend we had to get my daughter in NC on Friday for a family celebration
and take her back Sat in time to run in a track meet. She goes to school on the
other side of the Appalachians, near Charlotte NC and the track meet was out
near Cherokee NC. We cross the mountain at ~3600 feet. It was warm but foggy
Fri and snow and ice over about 2500 ft on Sat. I wanted to stay and watch her
run, but knew we needed to get back over the mountain before it got worse and
wanted to get over and down a couple of miles before it got dark.
It happens to be "race weekend" here and I'm happy to report the weather is
great today... :)

Just because your kiddies went on spring break doesn't mean that you get
one. ;-)
We could use some Spring around here. We had 6" of snow & ice on Saturaday
with a couple of power outages for good measure.
