They're not spending time and money to develop this out of the goodness of
their corporate hearts, that's for sure.
To me, the fact that it interfered so much with VBA suggests it's doing
more than performing basic search functions.

Depends on one's definition of 'safe'? I personally wouldn't use it for
the reasons I gave before. I don't trust them or M$ to preserve my
anonimity.
