When you have setup the window as you want it
hold down ctrl and use the windows menu selections to 'file' 'close'
(or maybe it's the shift key)
Provided you have deselected the option to have all folders open in the same
mode -
that makes the windows 'OS' remember the state and location of the window as
it's current status
I believe there are at least 3 different initiation sets depending on how you
get to (and open) the explorer facility
There is always the e and s options to have a shortcut to ecplorer.exe open at
a particular folder setup (see help)
(topics shown under command options
command-line options
also totally bemuse yourself with such topics as
Useability options
commands
Dr Watson overview
Modify an existing Filetype
Recovery Console Overview
Repair overview
and you can just use the right-click options to create a shortcut to the
particular folder
