Some time ago I reported a problem with my PC-clock. It runs more than two
minutes fast each day. I tried al the suggestions given on this list, but of no avail. Most likely
the problem is caused by a faulty clock-crystal. The MBR would have to be
removed and send to the manufactor for replacement. I did not want to be
without the MBR that long and also it would require a new install of Win-Xp
and a number of applications.
I didn't pay a lot of attention to the original thread, but did anyone suggest
that XP is quite capable of handling the clock resyncing chore? The XP default is every 7 days. I have mine set for once a day, but you can make the interval anything you like:
