Hi All,
I am looking for DVD software that will do the following.
Be able to edit recorded TV shows (MPEG). I want to remove the commercials, then record them on a DVD. I use Sage.tv to record my shows, it would be nice to be able to nix the commercials and burn a DVD.
I like to idea of turning my digital photos and videos into a DVD slide show that will play on a standard DVD player. I would also like to have the jpg photo file actually on the same disk so it can be accessed later.
It would be nice if it supported LightScribe but I can use other software for that. (I am going to get a Lightscribe burner here soon, along with whatever software I decide on.)
I am not really into DVD ripping. I buy the DVD's I want so being able to copy DVD's is not important here. I am looking for software that I can use to create my own from recorded shows and digital photos and videos.
I am also not afraid to pay a little bit for this software if it will do what I want it to do. I have been looking a Sonic MyDVD Studio deluxe (also, I do not need backup software so the Sonic Suite was too much for me, I think). It seems to do what I want. However, I know next to nothing about this subject so any and all advice or what not will be greatly appreciated. You can email me directly if you choose.
