Question to WIN-HOME List members: This seems like such a simple answer....let Acronis do all the
work implied by "B." above by simply selecting the LAST Incremental file. Has
"anyone" actually done a complete restoration and had success?

I have performed a full restore in this manner and it works exactly like they say. If you select the Incremental file as the one to restore it will automagically work out which other files it needs to include in that restore.

Yopu can also select an incremental file partway through the list to restore up that that specific file. Its quite handy. I have a scheduled full disk backup at the beginning of the menth, and then scheduled incrementals at various intervals through the month.

The only caveat is that I run True Image 7 instead of 8
