My Abit board is less than 1 year old and the fan is dying

If these are the Northbridge chipset fans, I get 2 1/2 years out of sleeve bearings, and when I swap them out I "hunt down" and buy fans with ball bearings... (I never expect to replace those in the "limited" lifetime left on the computers.)
