Also what does the event log show? Lately (last few weeks) I've seen a lot of machines slowing down due to disk/filesystem corrurption, chkdsk fixes it fine. I've seen the same corruption cause the lockups of which you speak. Also PCI bus latency issues can cause the same problems..... -- Harondel J.
