Thanks for the feedback. I decided to give up on DVD-R DL and my
friend's DVD-RAM for now and went with the Sony DRX-720UL from newegg.
Initially, this will be used to expand the capabilities of my ReplayTV
once I have reformatted its MPEG-4 recordings to be playable off a DVD.
Right now, I keep having to delete archived shows that I had wanted to
catch up on in the summer due to space concerns. I also would like to
try to make some complete backups of my hard drive as well, so the DVD+R
DL should come in handy also.
