Details is in OE - and it's perfectly safe - and includes the message header (unlike view source)
BTW - in OL2003 you can get the equivalent of Details: http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/view_source.htm -- -----Original Message----- > A couple of issues back in PCWorld or PC Mag, a little > marginal note quoted someone, who said he could read suspect > e-mail message with impunity by invoking > Properties/Details/Source. I've found that I can right-click an HTML email in Outlook (not OE) and choose "View Source" to see the HTML source. That pops up a Notepad window showing the HTML, and is perfectly safe. There I can find the <A... link and see that the URL showing in the email is *not* the URL you'll be taken to if you click it! I don't see any "Details" entry under properties in Outlook. -- ---------------------------------------- The WIN-HOME list is hosted on a Windows 2000(TM) machine running L-Soft international's LISTSERV(R) software.
