If you are in the UK there are a couple of places selling a chip 
reseting tool. I have one.  They cost about £5 - 6 As Jimmy says, 
they work like a charm.  The only caveat is that every non Epson cart 
I have seen so far has a chip that cannot be reset.  Or if you 
prefer, cannot be reset by this tool !!

Note that Jimmy said "remanufactured Epson carts"  which I assume to 
be genuine carts that have been professionally cleaned and refilled.
