Some DSL filters have a built-in splitter. Just plug the DSL
filter into the wall jack, then plug the DSL modem into the
"DSL" jack on the filter and the phone into the "phone" jack on
the filter.
You will need a splitter if the DSL filter you have does not
have the splitter built-in. Use a standard splitter, not the
2-line splitter type.
