BTW this is where the install CD helps out. It will find the
router regardless of what IP is being used on the router or the
computer. If there is a subnet mismatch, the install program
will usually advise ways to correct the situation.
Also, if the router is not connected to a broadband device, the
installation program will usually fail because it will actually
try to connect to the ISP. So faking the WAN numbers will not
work with that type of router installation program.
