Shouldn't make a lot of difference nowadays as hardly any kid walks to school - they arrive in SUV/MPV etc even in the UK. It would make life here a bit easier as we are part of Europe and they are GMT+1 or GMT+2 in the summer all the time even in Spain where the 0 deg meridian runs anyway.
