When I opened the message, I found that Harondel J. Sibble had written:

It boots up normally to the desktop, but there is a dark blue box
on either side of the bottom of the screen (where START and
TIME is supposed to be). It stays in that state for a couple of
minutes and continues booting.
I then plug in the network cable and, viola, I'm on-line.
So............................I'm still having a heap of trouble!
Anyone have any ideas what I should do next?
Once it booted, no problem! But............we do know there is a
problem.
