OT rant, sorry... (I was looking for the car computer to get the
permanent security code from it so it is "sort of" related...)

what Haynes found was never the same on our cars even
though they came from the same factory - I've seen computers like that!
I have noticed lots of misprints and bad info in Haynes manuals.
I particularly hate it when they use a part name that does not exist anywhere
else in the manual -- even when they refer (send you) to a different section
using that name! And you can't figure out what it is..
The other thing I hate is that to save themselves money, they make "one size
fits all" multiple year manuals, tell you there are wiring diagrams in there,
but
never update them for three years and YOUR car is not included...
The computer above "might be" (can be) in the right front firewall under the
hood, or in the back - buried in the left rear wheel well, so PLEASE - nobody
tell me the wiring does not change from year to year... <grin>
