Hmmmm, good idea - I checked my system with Ewido and it reports nothing wrong 
but
when I check it again with MS AS it shows. Given MS's reputation I'm inclined to
agree that it is a false positive. btw, apparently MS has changed what it shows 
as
spyware because of heat by some vendors ("advertisers") that were being 
targeted.
As a number of commenters have suggested, it pays to use a number of different
spyware detection programs. Thanks for the info/help Kylde!
