Ya betcha but I already knew which side my bread was buttered on. ;-)
OBTW I knew that the Westell Versalink modem/router was a POS. Once I
hooked up the Linksys via SSIP I was able to put my NIC back at 100tx
Full Duplex & still maintain 120KB + download speed but prior to
hooking up the Linksys WRT54g in line I could only get 70-80KB. FWIW
I did go to <http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks> & ran their BBR Tweak
Tester II which yielded that my RWIN was too high so I dropped it to
37752 with Dr. TCP & even tho I rebooted I haven't noticed any
increase because of the tweak.
Thanks all & especially Carl for pointing out that SSIP ~ DMZ aka WAN
IP pass thru.
