Disconnect ALL of the computers from the network. Then hook only one of the "bad" machines up to the network and see what happens. Also, "reboot" whatever the network device is (router, switch, etc). And be sure the AV is not trying to scan network items.

I know this is got to be simple, but does anyone have any suggestions for fixing several Windows XP machines on the same network that have slowed to a crawl when booting and while in use. They have also lost their internet connection also. I have scanned for virus & spyware & have found none. Would it do any good to scan from a BartPE CD??

Thanks!!
