It appears that OE will eventually resort the accounts in alphabetical order.
Mine are in alpha order, and I haven't done anything to make it so.
So you could try renaming your Hotmail account as Z-Hotmail.
Then reboot a few times and hopefully it will get polled last.

seem to take ages to poll, while my regular pop3 accounts are fast.
Before adding the new account all my pop3 accounts were first, then the
hotmail ones. Now, they are muddled up all over the place!!

To Change your email Address for this list, send the following message:
CHANGE WIN-HOME your_old_address your_new_address

Note carefully that both old and new addresses are required.
