Bottom line:  Too little, too soon.

I "finally" went to the Support forums for Acronis.
(I had been working with the support staff directly...)
They did send me a non-public build (link) with visible changes,
but it was not fixed...

Apparently, this is more of a problem with being an
"early adopter"...

In the earlier answers, there is a lot of whining about
"but I just bought the older version"...

But then people start screeming about how bad it is...
(They have always fixed anything I complained about in the past...)

Note that DVD size chunks saved to the HD is not working.
This is while using the bootCD. (The only way I trust...)
(Work around, save as 650m and store them on DVD instead...)

The BartPE plug-in is not supported in ver 9 yet.
(Confirmed with a chat with their official rep this morning...)

As always, (and I have said this before), before trusting something
like this TEST it from start to finish, including a full restore...
