Yes, I have run it. Nothing with either symantec, norton, or that dll
appears. The error message title says 16 bit windows subsystem, then
inside that box is the error message. I am running xp pro, does that
help in any way?
If I leave the dll in the directory which the error message spells
out, the error does disappear, so as you correctly stated something
is loading it.
Thanks

I tried that, I removed symantec/shared files, I used startup cop,
and still the program still wants to load something. I am using win
xp pro if I didn't mention that earlier.
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions, but so far no luck.
Did you try the <http://www.silentrunners.org/Silent%20Runners.vbs>
that I suggested ? Something has to be loading it.
