I'm not familiar with how to do this in ICQ or Instant Messaging,
but you could set up a rule in your email client to respond when
it receives a certain message. The headers of the response will
contain the IP address.

I was hoping something could maybe figure my ip out if I had msn or aim or yahoo running or something? I know icq used to pass ip details between contacts (and even when "hide ip" was enabled you could use certain apps to reveal it anyway)
