When Apple Computer Inc. introduced the iPod four years ago today, users and
critics noticed something odd about the device: As an MP3 player, the iPod
looked a tad over-equipped.

My own caveats about the Video iPod:

The video library options are very limited: the only shows you can download
are Lost, Desperate Housewives,
night stalker (not the 1970's classic Klojack: The Night Stalker series
remmember that one?), The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and That's So Raven) in
my opinion who cares!!??

Due to those pesky copyright restrictions placed on the consumer by Apple (I
say to that copywrong) You can't copy any of the downloaded video content from
the iPod to the PC or DVD disk but as a paid licensed subscriber to iTunes you
can copy all the mp3 content you want from video iPod to PC or CD in any format
of your choice. Excuse me but
Apple iPod 30GB + anyone?

The video is less than DVD quality similar to that of VHS tape the resolution
is a pitiful 320 x 240 I'd rather skip the video and buy the actual DVD myself
instead.

For all of these headaches I'll stick with My 30GB iPod + it suites me fine and
I can store all of my music CDs on it thank you very much. As for video isn't
that's what the DVD disk and DVD player are for? ;)
