Everything works exactly as it should, but email is not listed on the
Document types when the wizard starts and the Merge to Email and Merge
to Fax Buttons are grey.

It should work with email too, especially when you start the merge in
word. What email program do you use? Are you getting completely through
the wizard without errors? 

There is a way to bring up some of the same dialogs as you see in the
older versions (unless I'm confusing versions and the 'old' wizard is
not the dialogs from older versions but an old wizard. I don't have
machines handy with 2000 and 2002 installed so I can't check it. :(  )
