I was just providing an alternative, on the chance it had been overlooked. If he has to use OE and he has to use that mail server which doesn't like Send before Receive, it can be kept happy with a few mouse clicks. Just trying to help.
What you interpret as criticism of verbage was nothing of the sort. It was a tongue-in-cheek disclaimer to fend off criticism of my answer. There's also the skill of deducing the *intent* of the answer. -----Original Message----- From: Windows Home/SOHO [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Gary VanderMolen Sent: Wednesday, October 26, 2005 11:17 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Outlook express --- Receive before send I interpreted the question "Is it possible to SET Outlook Express..." as a request for a permanent setting change which would cause all subsequent automatic mail fetches to behave in the desired fashion. Sometimes one has to deduce the *intent* of the question in order to grasp what's really wanted. Very few users have the ability to phrase computer questions in technically correct verbiage. You made no requirement that the feature be "automatic"! -- ---------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Is your picture included in the Official Win-Home List Members Profiles Page? http://www.besteffort.com/winhome/Profiles.html If not, write to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- ---------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mailto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Is your picture included in the Official Win-Home List Members Profiles Page? http://www.besteffort.com/winhome/Profiles.html If not, write to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
