I have to go through a security checkpoint every morning when I enter this
building to go to work. I carry a tiny MP3 player that includes 128MB of
flash memory. It goes through the X-Ray machine every morning, and has never
had a problem.

FWIW, I can just as easily put it in my pocket as I go through the metal
detector. The detector finds nothing, and the player is just as unruffled as
when it goes through the X-Ray machine.
