Mine also needs a reboot every once in awhile, but it is not often enough to
keep track of.

That's odd I've never had such a strange behaviour as that with my Netgear
WGR614v1.
When my WAN Intenet light goes offline all I do is turn off the SB5100, then
the router and then turn the SB5100 on then the router and it clears the
problem. Just a cold reboot does the trick but with serious router problems
not allways. Either firmware flash updates, diagnostics or default factory
resets can sometimes clear up the problem(s).
