No offense, but how did you come to link those 2 situations. I've used RDP in 
literally hundreds of machines and never seen that behaviour.  I use it 
dozens of times a day to manage many servers.  I know many other admins in 
similar situations.

I also use it with MS Terminal server which is a VERY common use of RDP.


How long ago did this happen? I know there were some fairly serious security 
issues with RDP, but that's going back quite a few years, at least 3 IIRC.

True however last time I looked at the development on the crypto plugins for 
UVNC, not much seemed to be happening.

I like the Java VNC client from the Travelling Software folks as it has ssl 
encryption built right in.
