Well it seems you completed the research you asked the list to do for you :-).
I can't see the Staples page without a Canadian zip code. Assuming the Staples link gave the Sony make/model as DRX-810UL, then it would seem they have the wrong description on their website. Somebody at Staples grabbed the description of an internal drive and then added a line "external drive" at the end. Of course, had you posted the Sony model info earlier I'd have been able to come up with a more accurate response earlier. I was looking at a Staples Canada web site http://tinyurl.com/8z946 . The accompanying photo and descriptor says "external" thus my question. However, when I travelled to the Sony web site http://tinyurl.com/cxxs5 I found more information: "Dual Interfaces -- Connect via USB 2.0 or i.LINK (FireWire/IEEE1394 compatible). Includes 4pin and 6pin i.LINK ports" It looks like this is an external drive with USB 2 capability. :-) -- cheers, Stephen -- ---------------------------------------- To Change your email Address for this list, send the following message: CHANGE WIN-HOME your_old_address your_new_address to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Note carefully that both old and new addresses are required.
