I had the very same problem and I managed to place all the help and PDF files
in the correct
folders except for the BackItUp Application. I don't know why Nero 7 UE decides
to place it apps into
separate folders which is a pain instead of placing its apps in one single
folder which is normaly
what an install routine should do. Why didn't they include the complete help
files for once is what I really like to know. You'd think that every
application whould have a complete set of help files to help users solve a
potential problem but not with Nero 7 UE in this case is one lamebrianed
exception here. So much so I can pull my hair
out over it!
I updated to the 7.014 release but I have this nagging problem with getting
sound and capture
to work with NeroVision 4. I updated my ATI AIW 9600 TV cap card, my Sound
Blaster Audigy 2
with Creative I-Treague 220 speakers which I got recently but still no sound
and only partial channel scan over cable TV in the capture card up to channel 4
and none beyond that over cable still no sound in NeroVision 4 although the
sound card and speakers work great with Windows XP Pro and other apps. I ran
the diagnostic test inside of NeroVision 4 but still no go.
I may have to do a uninstall and reinstall the ATI drivers and Nero 7 UE from
scratch and repatch both and see if this clears up the problem.

Oh come on. Don't you think it's prettier? <lol>
I had gotten 7.0 Ultra Edition then upgraded to 7.014 but what a pain
as the upgrade kept saying it was the Demo & it not only creates many
duplicate files which could be a problem later but it put some of
them in the wrong place. Neither the Ultra nor the Upgrade install
the CHM help files as one has to download them separately. Ahead does
have them in a self extracting archive but it puts some of them in
the wrong places & doesn't have all the help files. One is better off
going to their FTP site & grabbing what they need then manually
placing it in the correct folders. There isn't even a CHM help file
for the Backitup app [there is one but it says to go to the website &
they don't have one] but I did find a PDF file with documentation for
the newer Backitup version on the FTP site. IMHO it's not quite
ready for prime time & it's a good thing they come out with updates
regularly as they ought to have this little PITA stuff taken care of
in say 6mo or so. ;-)
