You left off the 1st part of the sentence where I was talking about PayPal. OBTW that is not correct as a person does not have to have a PayPal acct to send you a CC payment that is processed by your PayPal acct so you can have the loot thus the reason you're charged the processing fee.

Since you like flipping your wig try this on for size.

Prior to Aug 19, 2005 if a person with a Personal PayPal acct had something for sale on eBay & you wanted to buy it you could use the CC that is associated with your PayPal acct even tho recipient does NOT accept CCs because you would be sending a PayPal payment & not a CC payment. The fact the funds would come out of your CC acct to pay PayPal has nothing to do with whether the seller with the Personal acct accepts CCs or not. To prove this is true when you got your CC statement you would only see PayPal & not the person you bought the stuff from. I assume that this is still true on other auction sites. Another indication that what I say is true is that eBay changed their policy about PayPal accts to cover this little loop hole & fwiw in the past I have done exactly this when purchasing from people with Personal PayPal accts. I know the money did not come from my PayPal or bank acct because I had zero dollars in each.

OBTW click the PayPal Demo button at <https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/ema/index-outside> & it shows what I just said is true but they don't tell you it won't work on eBay anymore since eBay now require both sellers & buyers to have either a Premier or Business acct.

I hope that you don't mind if the PayPal master takes the rest of the night off.
