I just returned from Target's Little Rock store and they have these
Three-Line Adapters on the shelf.
The box states that the full six wires must be used (three 2-pair lines) to
get all three (phone-fax-modem) activity at once, independently.
A couple of bucks.
Just make sure the lines are active to get all three working.
If you have one line active, only expect one outlet of the three on the
adapter to work.
This is not a splitter, it just accepts all 3 pairs (lines) and feeds them
to three-way-out.
If you have one line active, you get one of the three outlets to work.
Two active, then two out work.
I'd never noticed this adapter till I read about it here.
Personally I don't need it so I never even looked.

Have Fun,
Bruce
