DMA Jumper:

The external cable.

It has the usb connector on one side and a smaller 40 pins 
connector on the other end, and this connects to the rear of 
the enclosure. the chip must be on the small card inside 
where a short yellow IDE cable is attached and goes to the 
DVD drive.
As I said in a recent reply, I installed old cdrw Plexwriter 
on that enclosure and is working perfectly. Must be 
something with the new Plextor DVD.
