That's why I've always preferred http://makeashorterlink.com over the other URL re-directors. When you click on a link created by that service, it pauses for a few seconds before re-directing. It gives you the original link, along with an "exit" link, in case you don't like what you see. If you want, you could even add *.makeashorterlink.com to your restricted sites. This will disable the auto-redirect completely, giving you all the time you want to decide whether you want to go to the redirected site. For example, the Panda link that started all this (< http://enterprises.pandasoftware.com/virus_info/encyclopedia/overview.aspx?idvirus=102841>) would be http://makeashorterlink.com/?R5D11286C. Sure, it's not as short as the others, but with a simple security change, it eliminates any possibility of a stealth attack. -- ---------------------------------------- To Change your email Address for this list, send the following message: CHANGE WIN-HOME your_old_address your_new_address to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Note carefully that both old and new addresses are required.
