Yes.  But bear in mind that this was a brand new machine that had just 
been swiched on.  I refused every screen wanting to install stuff.  
NAV, McFee, AOL etc.

For the time being the one I havn't been able to kill off, is the DELL 
registration pop up screen.  It doesn't seem to exist anywhere that I 
can find.  However "Crl, Alt del" allows me to stop it.  Till it pops 
up again.  Also it keeps trying to send stuff through the LAN card.  If 
I disable that it tries the wireless link.  Minor issue, I don't have 
wireless !!  But next door does !!  Windows complains that it can't 
connect to the wireless network and asks for the settings.
Fat Chance !!
