What you are seeing is an Outlook peculiarity. It combines the
'From' header and the 'Sender' header to come up with that
"on behalf of" expression. My Outlook Express only shows the 'From'
address, and I'm guessing that most other email clients behave similar to OE in this regard.

I have registered my addresses with gmail. That is where the problem
started. After I have registered them the from header of my messages sent
through gmail becomes
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] on behalf of [EMAIL PROTECTED]
