I think. I exported (just in case) a couple of keys in the registry
and then deleted them. IE dutifully recreated them and the settings
survived a reboot. I can now view the History and Temporary Internet
Files folders as they are supposed to be viewed. Damn, but that was
frustrating! Let's hope it "sticks".
