I just had a chance to try out VMware Workstation 5.5.1 & can't
believe how much faster & better it is than MSFT's Virtual PC. It's
too bad that I get VPC for free with my MAPS subscription & I don't
get the VMware product. If I had the $200 for VMware I'd certainly
run out & buy it today as it is that much better.
Of course I should've known since Diane said it was so. ;-)
Thankfully VMware has their FREEware VMware player
<http://www.vmware.com/products/player/> that will play MSFT VPCs &
their freeware Browser Appliance VM
<http://www.vmware.com/vmtn/vm/browserapp.html>. They even have some
Vms of other OSes that are freeware as well such as some flavors of Linux.
