Recently bought S&T 2006 and have been trying to install it on an almost new
Compaq Presario but when I get near the end of the installation I get an
error message:
"Error 1402. Could not open key:
UNKNOWN\Microsoft.MapPoint.WiFiScanner.1\CLSID. Verify that you have
sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel."
I've heard of others getting that error but I thought they had gotten
a bootleg copy.
If one searches the MSKB they'll find that KB913188 has the answer &
